Will Charging My Phone Drain My Car Battery. Back in June I was on a road trip and the charger was was working fine. If it does where does the used batterys energy go.

Your charger isnt providing enough current to charge your phone while you use your phone. If you have a good battery then the cell phone should never pull enough current to drain your automotive battery.

After many hours on the road I plugged in my phone which was at about 50 and when I looked at it about 5-10 minutes later it was at 30. I suspect that most newer phones will as well.
